| First LEGO League Competition |

A longtime LEGO and robotics enthusiast, at age 14 I founded
a robotics team along with one of my teachers. We designed, built,
and programmed an autonomous mobile robot to compete in the
2003 Iowa State FIRST LEGO League Tournament. We came in 2nd
place even after having to completely reprogram the robot at the
competition. (I suppose I was destined to be an engineer.)
